Description
English: A golden Migration period object belonging to a warrior from around 500 AD. It was found at an excavation of the Finnestorp sacrificial bog where the brook Katebrobäcken joins the river Lidan. The sacrificial place is situated on the border between the parishes Larv and Trävattna, the hundreds Laske and Vilske, and the municipalities Vara and Falköping, in the middle of Västergötland in Sweden.
Svenska: Karvbleck eller munbleck av guld daterat till folkvandringtid ca 500 e.Kr. Blecket är funnet vid utgrävning av offermossen Finnestorp där Katebrobäcken rinner ut i ån Lidan. Offerplatsen ligger på gränsen mellan Larv och Trävattna socknar, Laske och Vilske härader och Vara och Falköpings kommuner i Västergötland. RAÄ-nummer Larv 121:1 och Trävattna 10:1. Fotot taget på Falbygdens museum i den tillfälliga utställningen Drakskatten från Finnestorp.
