English: Field west of Manor Wood The two fields shown on OS Explorer have been amalgamated into one, its area is in the order of 12 hectares. It is almost completely enclosed by belts of trees on three sides and a wood called The Gorse to the northeast. OS 1:10,000 map shows the buildings in the distance, in the shelter of the wood, to be a pheasantry and a keeper's cottage. |
