English: The crest of Saigon from 1870 to 1975.
Blazon: On a shield: Or, a base barry dancetty azure and argent, a two masted sailing steamship argent and a mullet of 5 points in sinister chief Argent. For a crest: A municipal mural crown proper. For supporters: Dexter an Indochinese tiger rampant proper, sinister an Indochinese tiger passant proper. For compartments: Two palm leaves and three weeds, all vert. For a motto: "Paulatim crescam"
