English: Brzeg is a town in southwestern Poland in the Opole District of Silesia; it is the capital of Brzeg County and is situated on the left bank of the River Oder. The town’s historic Brzeg Castle, which has been rebuilt in the Renaissance style from the original Gothic style, is also known as “The Castle of The Silesian Piasts” and “The Silesian Wawel”.
