Summary

edit
Description The Pergamon Altar was created around 180 B.C. in Pergamon, in western Turkey near the modern city of Bergama. It was excavated in 1879 and 1905, and reassembled in the Pergamon Museum from 1910 on. You see the altar when you enter the museum. The view is stunning.
