Description
Deutsch: 21.05.2005 02953 Kromlau (Gablenz-Kromlau): Schloß Kromlau (GMP: 51.537783,14.632232) im Kromlauer Park. Der Herr über Schloß und Park war bürgerlicher Herkunft. Friedrich Hermann Rötschke, Großgrundbesitzer in der Oberlausitz, besaß bereits die Rittergüter Wohla bei Löbau und Sänitz bei Rothenburg, als er 1842 Kromlau erwarb. Hier begann der "kleine Pückler", auf einem 200 Hektar großen Grundstück seine eigene Gartenwelt zu erschaffen. Das Schloß gleicht eher einem herrschaftlichen Jagdhaus. Es handelt sich im Kern um einen schlichtes Gebäude aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Friedrich Hermann Rötschke nahm um 1845 einen Umbau vor, bei dem der achteckige Turm an der Schmalseite hinzugefügt wurde.
