Description

The XC Falcon was the 2nd facelift on the XA, loosing the divided grille of the XB, the mighty GT was now discontinued (the best was the Fairmont GXL Sedan or Cobra Hardtop with 351 V8s) Built from July 76-March 79 The update in 1978 got improved suspension, it saw the FORD letters on the bonnet disappear and Ford oval appear in the centre of the grille. Engines; 4.1 6 or 4.9 and 5.8 V8s Available in base, 500 or GS Panel Van also (Sundowner option)The GS Rally Pack was available on 500 and the Fairmont, but not GXL, it had all the GS options plus more.

The GS was available on sedan, wagon, utes and vans.
