around Jordanian Cultural Heritage

Wiki Loves Monuments (http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org) is an annual international photography contest and crowdsourcing event in which participants photograph and upload images of historic monuments to Wikimedia Commons. These images are then available for free use on Wikipedia and beyond. More details about this year's annual competition can be found at Wiki Loves Monuments 2014. The competition takes place throughout the month of September each year.

This will be the second time Jordan has taken part in the competition, and everyone is welcome to get involved, whether as a participant (photographer), organizational volunteer, or both. There is no requirement for participants or volunteers to be from Jordan. The Jordan part of the competition, Wiki Loves Monuments 2014 in Jordan, is volunteer-led, with significant support from Jordan Tourism Board.

Participating in the copy of 2013 of the Wiki Loves Monuments for the first time was such a good experience. We are willing to repeat the experiment in 2014.

الويكي تهوى المعالم هي مسابقة تصويرٍ عالمية بدأت بتنظيم متطوّعين من ويكيميديا كومنز في هولندا عام 2010، ثم توسَّعت في عام 2011 لتصبح مسابقة على مستوى أوروبا، وأخيراً تحولت إلى مسابقةٍ عالمية في 2012، ثم اتسعت أكثر العام الماضي لتشمل أكثر من 50 بلداً من كل أنحاء العالم، حيث كانت المشاركة الأولى للأردن. ولقد قرَّرنا هذا العام أن نشارك مرة أخرى وبشكل أكبر، وبدعم من هيئة تنشيط السياحة الأردنية

Load your pictures in September 2014
بعض الإرشادات التي ستحسن من إمكانية ربحك للمسابقة: التقط الصورة بأعلى دقة. التقط أكثر من صورة واحدة لنفس المعلم. يمكنك اختيار أفضلها.، كما يمكنك رفع أكثر من صورة واحدة إذا كانت ذات نوعية جيدة. في حال تصوير تفاصيل معلم معماري، مثل قلعة أو بوابة، خذ صورة إضافية شاملة للمعلم. تأكد من أخذ موافقة مالك الموقع إن أردت أن تأخذ صوراً داخلية له. كما يمكنك المشاركة بصورة التقطها سابقاً لكن لن تحتسب أي صور ترفع قبل بداية شهر أيلول/ سبتمبر.
