Quiet
Awfully quiet down here.. Well done Matma Rex and MarkTraceur. :) —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 14:52, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
- Probably because the "Provide feedback link" no longer results in posts to this page, but leads to a Phabricator page requiring users to "Register with LDAP" (even if you're already logged into Phabricator). If the idea was to get people to give up on the idea of providing feedback, I'm sure bombarding them with cryptic ETLAs and registration requirements is an effective strategy. —LX (talk, contribs) 17:26, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
Sinhala language
Either I simply can't find it, or it is missing from the dropdown list of languages. Sinhalese, known natively as Sinhala, is spoken by 19 million people. It is the native language of the Sinhalese people, who make up the largest ethnic group in Sri Lanka, numbering about 16 million. Sinhalese is also spoken as a second language by other ethnic groups in Sri Lanka, totalling about three million. Can someone please help out ? Either by telling me I need to take a better look, or by adding it to the dropdown list. ? --OSeveno (talk) 12:50, 16 July 2016 (UTC)
- @OSeveno: I see it in the dropdown as "Sinhala", between "Sindhi" and "Slovak". Note that the names of the languages are localised to your interface language (in Dutch it's apparently "Singalees"). Matma Rex (talk) 16:27, 16 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Matma Rex: Thank you for the help. Apparently, when active on Commons, where English is the dominant language, I sometimes forget to check out the Dutch Wikipedia. Regards, --OSeveno (talk) 10:02, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
