  • The image seems OK but I think in this kind of image the statement about personality rights is required (see other portrait shots at QIC). --Basotxerri 21:18, 25 December 2017 (UTC).

Comment The template is in place but I'm not super happy with the right crop (see fingers). What do we think?--Peulle 15:00, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
@Peulle: Well, I started this because the image seemed OK for me. But feel free to move it to CR if you're unlucky with the crop. --Basotxerri 18:25, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
  •   weak oppose Yes, let's get some more opinions at CR. Considering the fingers could easily be cropped out, I think it should be done.--Peulle 18:40, 28 December 2017 (UTC)

  •   Oppose for discussion: the perspective should be corrected, since the sides are leaning out, is that not right?--Peulle 14:13, 28 December 2017 (UTC)

  •   Support this is not in the photo studio --Ralf Roletschek 08:26, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
  • It's not a valid argument for QI. If one takes blurred picture of some unique event then it may be VI or FP, but not QI because QI is just about quality, not importance of picture itself or difficulties in taking it. --Shansov.net 11:19, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
@Shansov.net: Sorry, this argument is just not true. QI has several exceptions for photographs taken in difficult circumstances. Motion blurs are sometimes allowed (and sometimes even desirable). It is also allowed to shoot with very high ISO settings, if not otherwise possible. Qi was never intended as an event to filter out only absolutely technically perfect photos, but as a motivation, especially for newcomers, to observe basic technical rules to raise the average level of photos for Commons and Wikipedia. QI was meant to mark well-made images, below FP standards, so that they could be easily found in some huge categories full of scrap photos. --Smial 01:36, 31 December 2017 (UTC)

  • Nomination Bildserie des Wat Rong Kuhn / White Temple in Nord-Thailand. Er dürfte populärer als der schwarze Tempel in der Region sein.Deutsch: English: A photo of a popular tourist attraction in northern Thailand, Wat Rong Kuhn, also known as the White Temple --Hans-Jürgen Neubert 18:14, 16 December 2017 (UTC)

  •   Support Good quality. Could possibly use a slight perspective correction on the bottom barrier. English description is marked as Deutsch. --Trougnouf 00:41, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Take critic not as a bunch. Bottom ist gauge, nearly a laser, but seen something else;-) THX (eigentlich hatte ich auf andere "Kritik" wie überbelichteter Himmel oder so was gewartet und das beim weißen Tempel, wo derzeit wieder alle an den Schatten kämpfen...--Hans-Jürgen Neubert 00:42, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
  •   Oppose However, the colour fringes in the sky should be removed as well as the dust spots. The burned-out part on the right doesn't work for me. --Ermell 20:20, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
Done --Hans-Jürgen Neubert 13:32, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Comment The clouds are without saturation and turn into light blue a few meters later? I have never seen this in reality but this might be o.k. for QI.--Ermell 07:58, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

In one way, the only one, You make me a little bit nervouse. I´m really not sure if the time stamps (more timezones) from cam or GPS are right. The pictures from White
Temple are taken at two different days. First day at evening (a warm light at a hot day) and from early morning, before the tourists will arrive (wet&cold light) up to lunch. --Hans-Jürgen Neubert 13:32, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Oppose Bottom crop, Sky seems overexposed, and as Ermell --Lmbuga 12:35, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

  •   Support - I don't get what would be wrong with the bottom crop; if anything, it's the right crop that bothers me a bit, but none of the crops seem unacceptable. And I believe I remember skies like that from the time I lived in Southeast Asia. I believe the sun is generally brighter near the equator. But be that as it may, the picture looks good to me, and I'd have to think it would be challenging to get such a really clear view of all that metal, so I'll take whatever sky within reason went along with the settings for that facade. -- Ikan Kekek 07:30, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
Thanks Ikan, but doesnt´t makes sense, if someones reacting only with nosefactor. Only two marks to keep serious: "The metal" are small mirrors. White Temple is something like "The Bollywood"-WAT - The sun is not burned (hard bright Light from right, check out roof) and not strange for Asia. And this is North-Thailand, not the South. The equator argument is imho stronger in Turkmenistan, Azer or Laos....all the rest is intended and not random as...At my start-time here, I have seen some images from a well known user from commons, (seen by upload after taken mine). He was the one and only with correct arguments and praises the result. Since that time I take it with humor. My only personal matter with pictures from mine is the missing old style of the wooden bridge. But that´s a point of the artist of Wat Rong Kuhn--Hans-Jürgen Neubert 13:22, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
Are you arguing with my support vote? -- Ikan Kekek 20:49, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
Nope, I thank You. Just precise metal to mirrors. Hans-Jürgen
If you want to be precise, don't argue that Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are closer to the equator than Thailand is. I used to live in Malaysia, which is a lot closer to Thailand than either of those countries and closer to the equator than Thailand is, and I believe I recognize this appearance of a sky. If I'm wrong, you are weakening my support argument for you, and maybe I should reconsider... -- Ikan Kekek 05:59, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose Far too tight crop on top, unfortunate on bottom, burnt sky, left side leaning in. Not a QI. Poco a poco 12:10, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

  •   Support not easy to get to a decision. There are many other images of the Wat Rong Kuhn with a better composition, including other imags made by Hans-Jürgen Neubert. But considering the great details in the center area and compared to other images with a QI stamp, this one can pass. --Sputniktilt 21:43, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
