The monument was completed in 1959 by sculptor Lembit Paluteder (1927–1995) and architect Mart Pordi (1922–2012). There is no freedom of panorama in Estonia. The copyright term of the country is 70 years, and the image can be undeleted in 2083 A1Cafel (talk) 04:35, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- From past experience there is little point in objecting to a 'deletion request' as generally the deletion proceeds often without any response to the objection raised. Perhaps if there was an obligation on those requesting a deletion to contact the artist first, if possible, this would lead to fewer 'deletion requests' and perhaps greater efforts to change FoP status from within countries like Estonia, which would appear to be a laudable objective. Most artists who put their work on public display are not against amateur photographers demonstrating their admiration by taking photos for others to view (although the cumbersome commons process for artist approval is not something most artists would wish to repeatedly go through), which at the same time provides more publicity for the aggregate creative work of Estonia.
