This file was initially tagged by Stefan2 as Logo. Claimed to be PD-textlogo, please discuss. King of ♥ 16:41, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the textlogo claim? Templates are {{PD-shape}}, {{PD-self}} and {{Trademarked}}. Nominate deletion under some other resason, for example above TOO. Admin you can close this thread. – GeMet [talk] 09:25, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I mean, the court cases available regarding COM:TOO Sweden are unfortunately too few to know for sure where copyright protection ends and begins. The key word the courts have used however is särprägel, translates to rougly mark/touch of distinctiveness. File:A6 logo.png did not have this distinctiveness neccessary for copyright protection. Is this logo more distinct or complex than that one? I'm not sure too be honest. If one were to depict a dandelion, would it actually look too far apart from this logo, I actually doubt it, so keep works with me. Not a clear cut case however, that I can say.Jonteemil (talk) 08:19, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: Per nomination and discussion. The uploader added template Template:PD-textlogo to the file. This template is not valid in this case as the image does not consist of simple geometric shapes and text. It is showing the complex shape of a flower. In addition the uploader added Template:PD-self to the file. This template is not valid, because the uploaded image is a copy/derivative work/redrawn version of this logo of the Swedish green party. The uploader did not give evidence per COM:EVID that they are owner of the copyright or that they have permission to use the design and put it in PD.

@GeMet: - if you would like to take action to keep this logo, please contact the copyright holder and then closely follow the procedure on VRT to show you have permission from the copyright holder/photographer to publish the image(s) on Commons with a free license. If successful, the image(s) can be undeleted. --Ellywa (talk) 17:44, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I extended the motivation listed above on request of uploader. In addition, the uploader asked to consider TOO. Per COM:TOO Sweden "the requirements for copyright protection are considered to be relatively low". This will mean the design of the logo will be protected by copyright in Sweden and also for that reason the image should be deleted. Ellywa (talk) 09:45, 6 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]
