British currency is copyrighted, see Commons:Currency#United_Kingdom. The currency museum might have released the picture under a free licence, but this work is not theirs to release. Underlying lk (talk) 14:44, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

- Comment I moved this one as part of a drive to move files off en-wiki - had it been an English note, I wouldn't have moved it as I know that the Bank of England takes an extremely dim view of any vague reproduction (I am in the UK) - to the extent that any notes shown on TV/films are nearly always Scottish.
