English: The San Emigdio Mountains — located in Southern California, between Greater Los Angeles and the southern San Joaquin Valley.

A mountain range in the Transverse Ranges System. They form the southern wall of the San Joaquin Valley, and link the Tehachapi Mountains (to east) and Temblor Range (to northwest).
The highest peak in the range, dependeing on geologists' inclusion, is either Mount Pinos at 8,847 ft (2,697 m); or San Emigdio Mountain at 7,492 ft (2,284 m).
Much of the range is protected within the southeastern Los Padres National Forest, in northwest Los Angeles, southwest Kern, and southeast Ventura Counties.
