Dan wassal għal diversi attakki, kemm mis-sibbien li kienu jagħmlu ħerba miż-żoni tat-Tramuntana li ma kinux difiżi u kemm minn qawwiet oħrajn li ġġieldu sabiex jiksbuha.

Il territorio della Repubblica di Malta è situato nel Mediterraneo, nel canale di Malta, tra la Sicilia e la Libia, e compreso nella regione fisica italiana, è composto da un arcipelago di 316 km² che comprende, oltre all'isola di Malta, l'isola con estensione territoriale maggiore, le isole di Gozo, Comino, Cominotto e Filfola.

The Republic of Malta is a small and densely populated island nation consisting of an archipelago of seven islands in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Malta lies directly south of ► Sicily, east of ► Tunisia and north of ► Libya. The country's official languages are Maltese and English. Roman Catholicism is the most practised religion. The islands constituting the Maltese nation have been ruled by various powers and fought over for centuries.
