Ripley is aware but unable to speak. Sometimes Ripley hears things that are not there, feels things that don't make any sense and sees things that are not real. Ripley can move and charge hirs little flashlight though. That should help with the very real doors and the very real ghosts. You play as Ripley. Making games is still very new to most of us, so much we couldnt actually deliver the game within the gamejam deadline, but it was an amazing experience to do it and share it online, we really apreciate your feedback, thank you for playing and have fun!
This was an interesting 2D horror game that revolves around a main character using his flashlight to scare ghosts away and perhaps get out of the location he is at. I don't think I completed the game as I got stuck on one level where I did not know the way out. This was a cool looking 2D game and I think that the game would be much better if there was a storyline to guide the players towards the ending of the game as for me, it felt like I was wandering aimlessly, looking for some sort of way out somehow.

We wanted an immersive non verbal/textual storyline and we focused on the ambient and the feel of the game. We understand that a more linear storyline would be appreciated by some members of the horror games community but we really wanted to make something a little different.
