Moot
A downloadable game for Windows
Overview
You play this game as a little dustball, swept off the wings of the grand moth you were once a part of, as it now struggles helplessly. Help this dustball solve puzzles, obtain items, free the creatures, and discover a special treasure. Be aware of how your cursor interacts with the environment! This point-and-click game has visual cues indicating actions in each area, so search everywhere you can with your mouse!
Controls
Everything in this game is controlled by your mouse! Hover to see which items are interactable and click to interact with them.
Game Jam
Due to time restrictions, we weren't able to show when the player has an item. When you click on the centipede, you will gain a pin from his back. When you click on the bells, you will gain a leaf from the tree above. When you click on the flower, you pick it up. The game was designed with the idea that the dustball came from the moth itself as moths are known to be dusty when they shed scales (fitting meet your maker), but there wasn't enough time on the win screen to show more dustballs falling off the flying moth.
Walkthrough
Go right, pick up the pin from the centipede, then ring the bells (using the pin). Then pick up the acorn and give it to the weevil, then go back to the moth level and go into the tree. From there, (use the leaf to) push the hanging bug into the web. Then go through the door and pick up the flower. Put the flower in the web (to attract the bees to the web and bait the spider to the web). Then just go back outside!
