Following the aftermath of what's being called "the largest IT outage in history", we've gathered initial data to understand its effect on supply chains. Here's what we know so far: 🏥 The outage impacted numerous industries and applications globally, including airlines, hospitals, and banks. ✈️ Thousands of flights globally have been cancelled or delayed as a result of the #MicrosoftOutage. 📦 Air freight is facing major disruptions currently. This will also impact last mile service levels based on its dependency on air freight. 🚢 Disruptions also impacted rail and ocean transportation, but these were minimal. As mentioned yesterday, we've added a new card to Movement for customers to keep track of any potentially affected shipments from this disruption. We will continue to monitor this situation closely, so make sure to follow along for additional #SupplyChain insights.

CrowdStrike's latest update caused widespread outages for #Windows systems this morning, which will likely have a ripple effect across the supply chain. To help our customers navigate this situation, we've added a new card to Movement that provides insights and filters for affected #shipments. We're in the process of gathering data on the #SupplyChain impact and will share updates as we learn more.
