Official Announcement: GAC Toyota Motor Corporation and Momenta Unveil Groundbreaking Smart Driving System for #bZ3X! On June 28, at the GAC Toyota Technology Open Day event, GAC Toyota Motor Corporation and Momenta announced that the two parties would create an end-to-end advanced intelligent driving system, which will be first installed on the #bZ3X model. This advanced intelligent driving solution is based on Momenta's AI flywheel, creating a safer and more reliable driving experience for users. In an ambitious effort to closely emulate human-like intelligence within vehicles, Momenta's algorithm 5.0 has been integrated into this advanced intelligent driving system. Our vision is to equip cars with the ability to "understand" their surroundings, think and react like experienced drivers, and ultimately provide a driving experience that matches or exceeds human capabilities. Exciting news from the forefront of autonomous driving! Last Tuesday, June 25th, at the 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (Summer Davos Forum) our CEO Xudong Cao delivered a keynote on "The Challenge and Practice of Realizing Automated Driving at Scale" and engaged with global leaders. The forum took place in Dalian, China, and gathered 1,600 guests from nearly 80 countries to discuss topics such as global economy, AI-driven entrepreneurship, and industry innovation. Xudong Cao emphasized in his speech the use of end-to-end big models as key to further speed up the large-scale introduction of autonomous driving with the goal of creating a safer, convenient and efficient driving experience. To achieve this promise, Momenta has developed an end-to-end model which has very strong adaptability and generalization capabilities and has already been implemented in SOP customers' cars, including SAIC-IM Motors and others, providing the necessary capabilities to drive Urban L2 anywhere. Momenta's autonomous driving technology models solve the long-tail problems of autonomous driving, enabling rapid progress and continuous improvement. Momenta is excited to share the achievement of an important milestone: The Urban Navigation Pilot (#UNP), a mapless city navigation on Autopilot (#NOA) launched in April together with SAIC-IM Motors as a public beta version in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Jiangsu province. ☑️ The innovative UNP technology works without the need for HD maps while providing a "human-like" intelligent driving experience across broader urban and rural areas. ☑️ Utilizing our end2end big model as well #DDLD (Data Driven Landmark Detection) and #DDOD (Data Driven Object Detection), the system can in real-time understand the environment and predict other traffic participants behavior. ☑️ Swift and accurate decision-making even in complex traffic situation enables more advanced driving support to enhance the urban navigation experiences. Anshuman Saxena, VP and Head of ADAS/AD Products of Qualcomm and Xudong Cao, CEO of Momenta, expressed their shared vision for this venture, highlighting the fusion of Momenta's data-driven algorithms with Qualcomm's efficient Snapdragon Ride. This launch promises dense computing performance from 36TOPS to 100TOPS and supports functionalities like Highway Navigation Pilot (HNP), Urban Navigation Pilot (UNP), and Memory Navigation Pilot (MNP). Tailored for adaptability, it accommodates various vehicle specs, including 7V3R to 7V1R, and even 11V systems, allowing customization for diverse automotive needs across different vehicle models and configurations.
