On the morning of August 14th, local time, the groundbreaking ceremony for Haier Chonburi Air Conditioning Industrial Park took place at the WHA East Coast Industrial Zone in Chonburi, Thailand. Once completed, this facility will be the largest air conditioning production base for Chinese brands in Thailand and Southeast Asia, as well as Haier's largest overseas manufacturing base in the air conditioning sector. Haier Chonburi Air Conditioning Industrial Park, located in Thailand, is set to showcase its commitment to digital intelligence, green technology, and energy efficiency. Covering approximately 324,000 square meters, the park is planned to achieve an annual production capacity of 6 million units. The facility will manufacture a diverse range of products, including split air conditioners, home central systems, RV air conditioner, portable air conditioners, and window AC. The first phase of the park is expected to commence operations in September 2025. Future plans include exporting products to North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Japan, enhancing Haier Air Conditioning's global market presence and solidifying its leadership in Thailand and beyond.

Haier Global Engineering Development Program (GEDP) graduation ceremony held on August 1st at the Qingdao RenDanHeYi Research Center. GEDP initially launched in 2016, evolved from the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP), a core competency of GE Appliances. On 18th July 2024, Haier Smart Home entered into the transaction with Electrolux Group in Sweden to acquire 100% equity interest in Electrolux South Africa Proprietary Limited ("ESA"), its subsidiary engaging in water heater business in South Africa. The acquisition is an important step in the strategic implementation of Haier Smart Home’s development in African market.
