Last week we took you on a journey how we shipped China Central Television's broadcasting vans from Ningbo to Paris - but COSCO SHIPPING also provided further full #logistics and #transportation services to support the Paris Olympics and #Chinese athletes that are in full swing now: 💧 🍇 By providing fully #supplychain services including #warehousing and customs clearance, our French colleagues ensured the delivery of mineral water from the Chinese Olympics team's sponsor and other beverages to their various team locations in France. 🚛 🎥 📺 We also provided logistics services for electronic equipment for the installation of external multimedia displays in Paris, including iconic venues like the Eiffel Tower Stadium and the Champ de Mars Stadium. 👇 Watch our video for some impressions from our #warehouse to the customer!

COSCO SHIPPING and Fortescue will collaborate on developing technologies to lower emissions and build a green fuel #supplychain! 📜✍️ COSCO SHIPPING and Fortescue, a global leader in green technology, energy and metals, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Shanghai. Both parties will leverage their respective technological and resource strengths to collectively develop a sustainable green fuel supply chain. This includes the potential for Fortescue to use COSCO SHIPPING vessels or vessels owned by the two parties, powered by green #ammonia, to ship iron ore and other mineral products with the aim of reducing China-Australia Iron Ore Green Shipping Corridor’s carbon emissions. 💚 Dino Otranto, CEO of Fortescue Metals, and Lin Ji, Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING, attended the signing ceremony. This significant event marked a new chapter in the deepening and expansion of cooperation between both parties, building upon the established China-Australia bulk cargo transport collaboration. 🗺 On 29th July 2019, we set sail from Hamburg on a challenging journey that brought us here 5 years later: A dedicated team of #shipping professionals developed their own shipping company called 💎 Diamond Line under the umbrella of Cosco Shipping Corporation. ⚓ We have transported several hundred thousand TEU on our vessels across Europe and the Mediterranean, we have chartered and redelivered hundreds of vessels of various sizes, we have entered co-operations and left them when necessary, all under our own Bill of Ladings and account, and we have grown year by year. 🚢 💪 It has been a bumpy road, we have fought and celebrated, we have gained, we have lost, we have learnt, but we have never lost focus on establishing our brand and increasing our footprint in the European and Mediterranean market. 🌍 Since the beginning of 2021, we are operating some of the largest vessels in intra-European trades with a capacity of 8500 TEU, which is one of our biggest achievements so far. 🥇 Today, we have passed the 5-year #milestone and now operate a #network spanning 26 countries and 65 calling ports with an operated fleet of 28 #vessels. 🎉 Weekly capacity exceeds 70,000 TEU and 💎Diamond Line has become a permanent fixture in the European short-sea landscape. 👉 But none of this would have been possible without the support of our principals in Shanghai and their confidence and trust in what we do. Welcome to the third and last chapter of our outside broadcasting van #shipping diary. As the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are starting today, we trace our path of shipping the 📹 8K ultra-high-definition outside broadcasting vans of China Central Television (CCTV) to France, to broadcast the athletes competition and closing ceremony in 8K for the first time in history of the Olympic Summer Games. 📺 SHIPPING DIARY PART 3: Delivery in Paris 🚛 More than 10,000 nautical miles already lie between Ningbo in China and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, where the outside broadcasting van arrived on 5th July after 35 days on board of our 20,000 TEU giant COSCO SHIPPING Aries. After a temporarily stay in a #warehouse arranged by our team in France, the vans continued their journey to Paris by land on 15th July. In the morning of 16th July, the convoy passed by the world-famous landmarks Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, demonstrating COSCO SHIPPING’s efficient and reliable end-to-end #supplychain service capabilities. How to connect new colleagues? Today we hosted our first business lunch for new colleagues at COSCO SHIPPING Europe Headquarter in Hamburg. With many new faces joining our team in the past months, we recognized the importance of fostering connections beyond daily tasks. During the lunch, we enjoyed delicious Pizza and Pasta while exchanging experiences and insights about working at COSCO. It was a fantastic opportunity to network and connect with colleagues who may not interact regularly with each other in their day-to-day operations. Creating these moments of engagement is in my perspective crucial to building a strong and cohesive team. Looking forward to more initiatives that bring us together and strengthen our bond at COSCO 💪.
