something stranger and more wonderful

Zuko and Sokka from Avatar the last air bender, altered to fit a fan fiction linked in the post. this picture is from sokkas point of view. its a close up of the water of the ocean waving up and down on the wreck of a broken ship's deck. it stormed, the sun is setting. at the top of the drawing, zuko is emerging from the water clawed hands with what seems to be skin between the digits. his front facing face is half submerged underwater. grinning mouth showing teeth. eyes fixed on the viewer (in this case sokka). in the middle of the image reflecting in the water is sokkas horrified face. at the bottom of the image are sokkas scrambling away feet. blue pants torn. dark blue boots covering his feet.ALT
Zuko and Sokka from Avatar the last air bender, altered to fit a fan fiction linked in the post. a horizontal scene. Depicting zuko pouncing onto sokka out of the water. sokka is on his back on the wrecked deck of the ship, trying to fight a clawing zuko off him with a stick. zuko is depicted with long hair, his signature scar including huge bite marks around his shoulder. Instant of lags, he has a black tale with black thins.ALT

its truly a beautiful fic. Keeping you on your toes while reading. making you worry about sokka exposed to the whims of nature and zuko, all alone.

big thank you to reikah and rana for all the handholding during this project! And stoping me form overthinking details.

I know posting vice this year was a bit meagre. not every year is the same but at the end i am kinda happy by the drawings i managed to do this year. compared to last year its funny how sokka got into the spotlight more often this year. and even suki was more prominently featured. zuko watch out who knows if i even draw you next year~

i guess my main goal for next year is to finish wips… like every year. oh my -starts sweating-

recap 2022 . recap 2023

also tried out again to make the characters turn around.

very wonky far from the smoothest animation. but still fun to see.

thanks for sticking around for so long and happy new year. let’s kick ass in the next year!!! -battle cry-

Each and every time I see your art I wanna cry a little bit because your costumes and fabrics are gorgeous and I wanna try to make them but nobody makes fabric and trims quite like this. Unless of course I am willing to embroider them myself, and I could but maaaan it takes so much time! So yeah you are every fiber artist's nightmare because give us so many ideas but you don't give us the time machine that we need to make those ideas

chiptrillino-art

adfadfa i am very sorry for that!
thats the perks of drawing that i can cheat a little to make things look nice without having to think how fabrics would work and look in actual gravity .

but thank you a lot!
