Read our App Note 'Real-time Cell Density Measurement for PAT Applications' to find out how the Cell Culture Research Team of the University of Bielefeld (Germany) studied the applications of new technologies for bioprocesses understanding. During the production of monoclonal antibodies (mAb) control of the bioreactor throughout all phases of cell growth is critical to increase yield. Over time these control parameters have changed from discrete off-line measurements to continuous in-situ measurements. In the past years, more complex measurement parameters such as Total Cell Density (TCD) and Viable Cell Density (VCD) have entered the market. Studying these newer parameters allows further monitoring and automation such as precise regulation of the nutrient feed based on the growth rate of cell cultures. Do you know #HowTo work with Hamilton's OneFerm Single-Use pH Sensors? The OneFerm is an electrochemical pH sensor specifically designed for single-use (SU) applications. These products are designed for installation into the bag or bioreactor at your OEM supplier and gamma sterilized prior to usage on-site. OneFerm sensors function just like traditional glass membrane pH electrodes however, due to the unique installation requirements there are certain installation questions that should be considered prior to usage. Read our knowledge base article to get answers to these questions: 💡Why is my sensor discolored? 💡What is the small tag included with the OneFerm sensor? 💡I lost my tag, how can I calibrate? 💡My sensor is dried out and some salt crystals appear near the tip. ➡️https://hubs.li/Q02Md2G50 #Hamilton #ProcessAnalytics #pHSensor #SingleUseSensor #BioTech #BioPharma #BioProcess

💡Let's dive into #HowTo connect polarographic DO (dissolved oxygen) sensors. For the most part, the connectors and cabling for polarographic DO sensors is not complex. There are two common connectors used for Hamilton’s polarographic DO sensors: ➡️ The T82 connector, sometimes known as a D4 connector, uses a twist-lock design to secure the cable to the sensor. They are less common than other types of connectors. Among Hamilton sensors, they are found only on the OxyFerm® FDA dissolved oxygen sensors. ➡️The VP (VarioPin) connector is a common connector used throughout the Hamilton sensor product line. The VP designation often includes a number that refers to the number of exposed poles on the connector head; for example, VP 6 indicates a six-pole connector. VP connectors are fully autoclavable and have an IP68 protection rating for submersion in water. The OxyGold® products use VP connectors exclusively, and they are available as an option on the OxyFerm® FDA dissolved oxygen sensors. #Hamilton #ProcessAnalytics #DOSensor #PolarographicSensor #DissolvedOxygen
