Particular areas we're interested in are: 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: For identifying microbes with improved biomining capabilities. 𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Extracting rare earth elements from e-waste and mine tailings. 𝗘𝗻𝘇𝘆𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: Using enzymes to break down ores for metal extraction.
