13th of September was a very special day at Teknos.   We held a global event focused on Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.   Everyone at Teknos, across countries and around the world, celebrated together. But it was more than just a celebration.   It was an opportunity for us to reflect on what well-being really means. We exchanged ideas, listened, and asked ourselves how we can create a better workplace for everyone.   As our CEO, Paula Salastie, said: “Well-being is about more than just health – it’s about trust". Onze collega Ronald Kouwenhoven heeft voor Landgoed De Klokkenberg van de vrouwenvleugel en het economiegebouw, een meerjarenonderhouds advies t.b.v. het buitenschilderwerk verzorgd. Landgoed Klokkenberg : Het voormalige sanatorium en latere hartkliniek is in 1949 ontworpen door de architecten De Bever en Van Moorsel en gebouwd in 1951-1954. Het (voormalig) Medisch Centrum De Klokkenberg te Breda. Heeft Vitalis WoonZorg Groep (vh eigenaar) sinds de sluiting 2001 naar een nieuwe bestemming gekeken voor "Landgoed De Klokkenberg. Het historische karakter van het landgoed draagt bij aan een gevoel van allure en nostalgie. Na ca. 15 jaar leeg te hebben gestaan wordt De Klokkenberg, op initiatief van Schonck, Schul & Compagnie herontwikkeld op basis van een geheel eigen visie. De opgave van de herontwikkeling van Landgoed De Klokkenberg betreft niet het ontwikkelen van een seniorencompound met appartementen, zoals in eerdere planvoeringen, maar het ontwikkelen van een gevarieerd wijkje waarin het Rijksmonument centraal staat. Lab tests aren't enough.   We don’t just rely on lab tests. At our production sites, we have facilities where we test products in real-world conditions before our products ever reach the market.   From UV exposure to heavy rain and frost, we push our products to ensure they can withstand whatever nature throws at them - so they perform reliably when it really matters.

Making high-quality paint is not enough. We believe in building strong partnerships with our customers. LAQUE Spuiterij in the Netherlands, owned by Mathieu de Rooij, has trusted our paints for years. Recently, Berry van Dijk, our Technical Service Specialist, set up a new mixing machine to help them keep delivering beautiful colors. - We can't do our job without high-quality paints. Teknos stands out for their innovative solutions and commitment to quality, says Mathieu. Hearing stories like these warms our hearts.

Humbled and proud. That's how we feel when we get acknowledged for our sustainability work. We are featured in a recent Coatings World article on the latest Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and the paint industry's drive toward a more sustainable future. The article highlights some of our efforts: 💚Using bio-based raw materials: We’ve started using bio-based raw materials in our products, like our new UV coatings with 12-18% bio-based content. Bio-based materials are more sustainable because they come from renewable sources, help us cut down on fossil fuels, and often have a smaller carbon footprint compared to traditional raw materials. 💚Ahead of one of our goals: We’ve already surpassed our 2025 target for removing substances of very high concern from our products. We’ve also made great progress in reducing VOCs in our coatings by encouraging our customers to choose more compliant alternatives. 💚Collaborating on innovative projects: We’re working on projects that aim to develop new polymeric coating materials (coatings made from durable, high-performance molecules) with 80-100% renewable content.
