Driving Luxury and Sustainability: SWISS and BMW Unite for a Way Forward 🌟 From now on, our First Class and HON Circle passengers with SWISS and the Lufthansa Group will also experience maximum comfort on the ground! In Zurich and Geneva, our guests are transported between the terminal and the aircraft in fully electric limousines. 🚗⚡ In Zurich, we are deploying ten BMW i7 in the Premium Service, while in Geneva, an additional vehicle is available. With this introduction, over three-quarters of our Premium Service fleet is now electrically powered. 🌱🔋 Dennis Weber, CFO of Swiss International Air Lines, who was present at the key handover, emphasized: "The cooperation with BMW represents another important step on our way to CO2-free ground operations by 2030. At the same time, by using the luxury limousine, we can meet the expectations of our SWISS First guests and HON Circle members at the highest level." 💬✨ Sergio Solero, President & CEO of BMW (Schweiz) AG, adds: "BMW and SWISS share the same values with their high standards of sustainable product and service quality, standing for forward-looking mobility and innovations." ✈ 🤝 🚘 SWISS has set the goal of achieving CO2-neutral ground mobility by 2030. By 2025, we aim to replace 50% of our combustion vehicles with electric ones. An important step towards this goal is the introduction of eleven BMW i7. 🌍🔜 BMW Group #SWISS #BMW #Sustainability #Innovation #ElectricMobility

🏆 Our hangar became a soccer field ⚽️ We swapped our work clothes 👨🏭 for jerseys 👕 and our toolboxes 🛠 for footballs ⚽️ as we hosted our traditional football tournament in our hangar! It was incredible to see teams from different departments lace up and compete with such enthusiasm and team spirit. 💪 From spectacular goals to nail-biting penalties, every moment was filled with energy and camaraderie! 🌟 Events like these remind us why SWISS is more than just a workplace; it's a community where passion and teamwork thrive both on and off the field. 🤝 A sincere thank you to everyone who participated and supported their colleagues – your involvement made this event truly special! ⚽️ 🎬 Nali Creations

Summertime is travel time! 🌞 🏖   This is the busiest time of the year at Zurich and Geneva airports. We have been making extensive preparations for this year’s peak travel season. You can play your part, too, in ensuring a smooth travel experience. Here are some tips: 📱 Download the SWISS app. You will then receive push messages directly to your phone on any change of your flight’s departure gate or any delay. 🎫 Check in for your flight online before leaving home. The online check-in service can be used within 24 hours of departure via SWISS app or swiss.com. 🛄 Check your registered baggage in at the airport the evening before your flight, make use of the AirPortr service or check in at one of the departure airport’s self-bag-drop machines. 👜 Make your carry-on baggage as light and easy-to-handle as possible. 💊 Be sure to put personal items such as valuables, passport and any medicines in your carry-on baggage, along with any devices such as mobile phones, tablets, power banks or e-cigarettes. ⏲ Check on the latest status of your flight and for any schedule changes on swiss.com before leaving for the airport. 👮♀ Allow sufficient time for check-in, security and passport control at the airport. We wish you all a great summer with the smoothest possible travel experience! 🛫 😎

Great News 🎉 ✨ The EU Commission has given the „green light”, and ITA Airways will soon become part of the Lufthansa Group family. 👨👩👧👦 ✈   The legal closing is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2024. Until then, #ITAAirways and #LufthansaGroup remain competitors. We will communicate more details as soon as the formalities have been fully completed.   We are getting ready for a joint take-off and plan on collaborating closely together on several different initiatives, such as lounge access, loyalty programs, customer service and airport touchpoints.
