On the 2nd of July, SWAROVSKI hosted a group of B2B clients at our traveling exhibition, Masters of Light – From Vienna to Milan, in Italy's fashion capital. Envisioned by Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, and curated by British fashion journalist and critic Alexander Fury, it celebrates almost 130 years of SWAROVSKI's influence across fashion, jewelry, and pop culture. Masters of Light – From Vienna to Milan is displayed across the historic salons of the newly renovated Palazzo Citterio, the magnificent extension of Milan's foremost museum, Pinacoteca di Brera, and explores the revolutionary spirit of one of Europe's oldest luxury Houses. During the B2B event, our Chief Commercial Officer Michele Molon hosted the discussion 'Towards a Sustainable Future', with guest speaker Monica Buchan-Ng, Head of Knowledge Exchange (Sustainability) at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion. SWAROVSKI's Chief Supply Chain Officer, Ivanka J., and Peter Widmann, Head of B2B joined the conversation, which was moderated by Myriam Coudoux, our Senior PR & Sustainability Manager. Together they reaffirmed the brand’s commitment towards people and planet. The evening ended with a private dinner at Horto Restaurant Milano, recipient of the prestigious Michelin Green Star that's awarded to restaurants that excel in sustainability and reducing their environmental impact.
