Grazie Andrea Schievano per l'incredibile lavoro di analisi sulle evidenze ad oggi disponibili nella letteratura scientifica riguardanti le pratiche rigenerative in agricoltura. 🙌 🌽 🥦
After over 5 years of intense and highly-qualified scientific work by a fantastic multidisciplinary team, we are pleased to see our dataset (#farmingpractices and #impacts - #iMAPFP) published in Nature – Scientific data. We systematically collected the available scientific evidence on the effects of a wide range of #farmingpractices on #climate, #environmentalhealth, #water, #biodiversity, #soilhealth, #agriculturalproductivity. The iMAP-FP dataset synthesizes the findings of nearly 600 #metaanalyses, each one analyzing the results of statistical tests based on hundreds of empirical trials testing the potentials for transitioning our agricultural systems towards #sustainability and #regeneration. Results can inform agriculture and environmental policymaking, including the #CommonAgriculturalPolicy. The IMAP-FP dataset represents a valuable resource for the establishment of an EU-wide benchmarking system for agriculture and food systems, as recommended in the #StrategicDialogue on the Future of EU Agriculture, published on 4 September.
