We, and our marketing arm Valenz, have delivered the first Quantified Emissions Tokens® (QETs) into our customer Evonik’s digital wallet. The QETs were minted by EarnDLT® to provide an immutable digital record of the purchase of 1000 MT of methanol, which was produced at Proman’s Pampa plant in the U.S. and sold by Valenz. Following the success of the trial, tokens will in future contain the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and other attributes required by Evonik to correctly record its own Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data. Since the delivery of our first IMOIIMeMAX methanol-fuelled tanker in June 2022, we have held traditional ceremonies to officially name and bless each vessel in the fleet, which now stands at six. The vessels, which were commissioned thanks to our partnership with Stena Bulk, travel the world today, running on methanol to deliver products to international customers and to underline the viability of methanol as a marine fuel. The ceremonies were held at locations around the world that are of significance to our business and shipping in general - Trinidad, Rotterdam, New Orleans, Guangzhou, and Singapore. We are delighted to be working on a project with TA’ZIZ to build the world’s most efficient and low-emission conventional methanol plant. Demand for methanol as a fuel for shipping, road and rail transportation and power generation is growing fast. Following the signing of the shareholders agreement with TA'ZIZ last year, we look forward to continuing the work to deliver this 1.8 million tonne/year facility. Conventional methanol brings immediate air quality benefits when used in place of petroleum-based fuels, and when blended with increasing quantities of green methanol, provides a clear pathway to deliver the energy transition across multiple sectors. #cleanerfuels #alternativefuels #methanol

Today, on World Environment Day, the Proman Foundation is pleased to highlight our recent tree-planting initiative, which was conducted in collaboration with the Gift For Life Foundation and two Children's Homes in Trinidad—the Ezekiel Home for Abandoned Children and Dar ul Aman Children's Homes. On the day, we planted 25 fruit and flowering trees, benefiting more than 60 children in the community and raising educational and environmental awareness. We were especially delighted to witness the children's excitement as they assisted the Proman Trinidad volunteers and promised to care for the trees. May we all continue to share their commitment and work together as stewards of nature to protect our planet for future generations.
