This Monday, we take a look at a rendering video using NeRF technology. The dataset was captured with PIX4Dcatch and processed in PIX4Dmatic. After 80 years, Bogotá's Metro Line 1 project is underway, and Pix4D is used to map the train depot 🚆 A civil engineering firm in Bogotá is overseeing the construction, which involves the excavation of 1.2 million cubic meters of earth 🤯 With Pix4D, they conducted a topographic soil survey, enabling remote monitoring, tracing, and inspection. Project details: ➡️ DJI Matrice 300 and Zenmuse P1 camera 📸 ➡️ Terrain captured in 45 minutes ⏳ ➡️ Processed in less than 2 hours 💻 Typically, such calculations take 20 days, according to the firm. Using Pix4D, they were able to deliver calculations for the volume of soil to be excavated on the entire construction project in less than a day!
