The race between two continents was everything we had hoped for! ⛵🌟 The other week, our MSC Sailing Team competed in Turkey’s world-renowned Bosphorus Cup, from 19-22 September. Racing through the iconic Bosphorus Strait with its breathtaking Istanbul backdrop was an unforgettable experience. In just our second appearance at the event, the team finished an impressive 12th in our category and 36th overall under the skilled leadership of skipper Nicolas Groux. MSC joins the global call for an IMO regulatory framework that accelerates the adoption of net-zero fuels by addressing the cost gap between conventional and low-carbon marine fuels. At the recent UN High-Level Ocean for the Future meeting, industry leaders, including CEO Soren Toft, emphasized the need for scalable solutions and innovative technologies to drive the maritime sector toward decarbonization by 2050. With 20 dual-fuel vessels already in service and over 100 dual-fuel LNG vessels on order, MSC is already implementing technology for the future.
