Since 2016, MassChallenge Switzerland has been a leader in helping startups grow their businesses by accelerating 720 startups across the world in multiple industries. They have raised more than CHF 1.2Bn in funding. Our flagship program is the early-stage startup accelerator, which accepts startups from any industry and country. All startups in the accelerator are advised about how to make their business climate responsible and must intend to off-set their emissions or actively reduce GHG. In addition to the accelerator, MassChallenge Switzerland runs a challenge program, the Sustainable Food Solutions Challenge, matching later-stage startups with corporate partners in the food industry.

🙌 ❤️ 🚀 🎉 The last two weeks have been truly unforgettable! We kicked off our early-stage acceleration at MassChallenge Switzerland!! 🎉🚀❤️ 🙌 I feel extremely privileged to have met approximately 100 founders. So much talent, uniqueness, and passion in one room! The solutions ranged from microbial factories, decarbonization, novel feed, non-invasive pest control, fat alternatives, alt. proteins, baby food, biostimulants, organic fertilizers, direct air capture, microbial detection, new materials, packaging, supply chain, waste and water monitoring and treatment, to shipping recycling, innovations in HR, medtech and much more! We heard pitches on all of this and more, met talented mentors, participated at amazing lectures, and visited a few of our partners on tour, including dsm-firmenich, Omya, Louis Dreyfus Company, Givaudan, Bühler Group, and Nestlé. All of this was, of course, combined with the beautiful city of #Lausanne and the City festival ;) There’s a lot to come! Demodays, 80 lectures from experts, exploring business cases with #corporates, and meeting a #VC every Friday! I love this work.
