Meet Megan Batchelor, Principal Specialist in Global Compliance at our Hamlin Road site in Durham, North Carolina. With 3 years at KBI Biopharma, Megan ensures our sites are always inspection-ready, recently leading the FDA inspection at Hamlin Road. She loves the dynamic nature of her role and finds joy in the daily challenges and opportunities to grow. “No two days are ever the same,” Megan shared. “With that, I can learn and grow alongside the company!” She’s proud to work at KBI, knowing she makes a positive impact. “It's an amazing feeling to know that what you are doing is ultimately helping patients,” she joyfully said. The energy Megan brings to work matches how she lives her life. She's a Peloton enthusiast who often takes early morning spin classes to start her day. She is also an avid traveler. Meet Nick Brann, a Downstream Process Development Associate II at our Venture Center site in Durham, North Carolina, who has been part of the KBI Biopharma team for 3 years. His role is vital in purifying harvest material to achieve the final target molecule through various chromatography and filtration methods. He recently gave a presentation as part of a KBI seminar series on two canine molecule projects he developed. Nick's favorite part about KBI? "The people," he says. "Everyone is always willing to help out, especially when facing complex challenges." He shares his team stands out for their collaborative spirit and sense of humor, making each day enjoyable. In his free time, Nick likes spending time with his family and hunting with his dad and brothers.
