Did you know that Jedsy is the only drone on the market that is documented with an academic publication in a peer reviewed journal on our work using drones for #medical delivery? We are excited to have contributed and would like to congratulate Noël Rouven Stierlin, Lorenz Risch, and Dr. med. Martin Risch for the publication of not only one, but two papers. The papers about pre-analytics and the eco-footprint of medical delivery by drone were reported with the academic open access publisher MDPI which fosters open scientific exchange in all forms, across all disciplines with their 451 open access peer reviewed journals.    Pre-analytic refers to the processes that occur before the actual analysis of a medical laboratory sample, including collection, handling, labeling, and transportation. The transport method is particularly important because it can significantly impact the integrity of the sample; factors like temperature, vibration, and time delays can alter the sample's composition, potentially leading to inaccurate test results. Using reliable and efficient transport methods, such as Jedsy drones, ensures that samples arrive at the lab in optimal condition, enhancing the accuracy of diagnostic tests and improving patient care.    The study shows that high-speed #drones can transport blood samples without significantly changing sample concentrations compared to traditional car transport. This proves drones can offer faster and more efficient medical sample deliveries, critical for timely diagnoses and treatments.    Jedsy played a key role by providing advanced technology that enabled safe and reliable transport. Our high-speed drones maintained sample integrity, demonstrating how this innovation can improve medical logistics, especially in remote areas.    Our expertise in drone logistics showcased the benefits of fast, precise transportation in healthcare. This collaboration highlights the potential of drones to transform the delivery of medical samples, offering faster results and better patient outcomes.    With these contributions, Jedsy is leading the way in medical logistics #innovation. Next month on the 9th of October, we are happy to be present at the UNICEF Gala in Lugano. Our partnership in the recent years, specifically in Malawi, has been very rewarding for our team and helps to further Jedsy's mission of delivering when and where it matters most. UNICEF organizes this gala evening in Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland, to raise awareness of the extraordinary work they are doing. During the evening, an overview of UNICEF emergency measures and innovative technologies in the field of humanitarian aid will be shared and we are proud to continue to support them. Then from the 8th – 10th of October Jedsy will participate in the annual Salamanca Startup Olé 2024, which is the largest #tech event in Europe (outside the capital cities). Startup OLÉ has gathered along its history over 40,000 attendees from over 120 countries, including more than 1,500 startups and more than 1,200 speakers, investors and family offices. This 11th edition will be the biggest so far! Jedsy is also one of the 15 selected companies with the honor of presenting to the German @Budeswehr next week from 29.09. to 02.10. on "The Use of #drones in the #medical service of the Bundeswehr", organized by the Federal Medical Academy on behalf of the Budneswehr Medical Service Command.    Finally, on October 14 we will be attending the IFJ - Startup Support Startup Forum St. Gallen at the OLMA, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year! We will get to network with the most innovative #startups and hear some exciting speakers.    If you are attending any of these events, please give us a shout. We are very proud to be the winner of the first Startup World Cup Liechtenstein competition with our drone technology!  We now get to go to San Francisco to the Startup World Cup which is a global conference and competition that brings together the top #startups, #VCs, #entrepreneurs and world-class tech #CEOs on October 4 where we will compete for $1,000,000 investment prize!     By the way, did you know that Liechtenstein has a long history of creating technology assisting in flight?    During the Apollo 11 mission in 1969, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration was able to count on the support of a Liechtenstein company, Balzers to produce a protective coating for the rocket. In gratitude, NASA and President Richard Nixon gave the country a national flag that had been on the moon, as well as real moon rocks which can be viewed today at the "Liechtensteinische SchatzKammer" museum in Vaduz. Jedsy wants to help bring Liechtenstein back to the world stage for advances in flight #technology. Wish us luck and don't forget to go see the moon rocks if you have a chance!
