A UK teenager with epilepsy is the first to receive a brain implant, cutting seizures by 80%. 🧠 Brain implant science has surged. First recorded by Hans Berger in the 1920s, we now know the brain's 100 billion neurons can power a light bulb. The joint IEC Committee with #ISO, ISO/IEC JTC1 recently set up a subcommittee which was specifically set up to standardize brain computer interfaces.
