Wir haben Zuwachs bekommen! ✈ Wie im Januar 2024 angekündigt, erweitert Helvetic Airways ihre Flotte um vier Embraer E195 mit brandneuer Kabinenausstattung. Die erste Maschine wurde heute Freitag, 05. Juli 2024, am Flughafen Zürich in Empfang genommen. Das Flugzeug mit der Registrierung HB-JVJ ist von Macon GA (USA) via Keflavik (Island) in die Schweiz überführt und am um 06.28 Uhr in Zürich gelandet. Die drei weiteren Embraer E195 werden in den kommenden Wochen zu uns stossen und die Helvetic-Flotte auf insgesamt 22 Flugzeuge vergrössern.

Swiss regional airline Helvetic Airways provides a range of short- and medium-haul air services from its Zurich Airport and EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg hubs. The carrier uses its 13 Embraer E Jet aircraft for scheduled, wet-lease and charter flights. Eight Helvetic Airways Embraer E190-E1s and -E2s are currently operated on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines under a long-term wet-lease agreement. The Helvetic Airways workforce numbers some 450 employees. The company also has its own maintenance hangar and operation at Zurich Airport, which is further home to its corporate head office. Helvetic Airways has been working closely with Horizon Swiss Flight Academy AG (www.horizon-sfa.ch), which is based in Kloten, since 2008. Both companies are part of the Helvetic Airways Group, which is domiciled in Freienbach, Switzerland.
