It took 1 and half month to build this fantastic Horizon hybrid pitch in Switzerland 🇨🇭FLexGrass handled the entire construction of the pitch infrastructure, which included installing a new drainage system, a new sand-based rootzone, a new irrigation system, new fences and a new LED lighting system. FLexGrass team is maintaining the surface and it will be in charge for the maintenance for the next 2 years

With a fresh and clean USGA sand base, we're gearing up to deliver top-quality 100% Kentucky Bluegrass sods, along with Kentucky and ryegrass sods, to our valued clients. #Quality #TurfFarming

A sneak peak of our latest innovation… Every year, artificial and hybrid pitches are being used more in colleges, sports clubs, and stadiums around the world. They play an important part in elite and amateur sports, improving the health and well-being of people, all over the world. At the same time, there is a growing recognition of the environmental damage caused by plastics. Stadiums want materials that align with the environmental policies of sports bodies and of corporate sponsors. After 4 years of work behind the scenes, SIS Pitches Group and FLexGrass are delighted to announce an exciting milestone in our collaborative work on our own biopolymer, BioGrass™. We would like to recognize and acknowledge the invaluable support throughout this process from our British and Italian scientific research partners. What is BioGrass™? BioGrass™ is made from a biodegradable biopolymer, so it is a fully circular product - derived from nature, then returned to nature as it naturally biodegrades over time. It works along with real grass, to create an ideal playing surface. BioGrass™ can be produced through two systems - stitched or as a carpet. The stitched system injects BioGrass™ fibres in with real grass, while the carpet system works by combining a BioGrass™ mesh though which natural grass grows. AS Monaco The latest milestone that we are excited to announce is that, for the first time, and with thanks to our illustrious partner, AS Monaco, we have stitched a hybrid stadium pitch with our new biopolymer. The pitch was stitched with our patented SISGrass™ machines. Certification BioGrass™ is TÜV certified. TÜV is the official Austrian process to test, inspect, and certify technologies, products, and systems. TÜV is recognised worldwide as being of the highest quality, value and credibility for any product or service. We are thrilled to have received confirmation from the TÜV that we have been certified across not just one, but 4 of their sustainability accreditations. Once a patent is issued, BioGrass™ will only be available through both SIS and FLexGrass.
