Let’s dive in! 🌟 1️⃣ Ambient Temperature: Proper curing depends on the right temperature range. - Too low? Incomplete polymerization. - Too high? Premature curing. Balance is key! ☀️❄️ 2️⃣ Mold Temperature: Consistent mold temp = uniform curing. 🔄🔥 3️⃣ Resin/Gelcoat Temperature: Viscosity, cure rate, and adhesion love the right temp: - Low viscosity = better fiber impregnation. - Proper cure rate = strong bonds. - Good gelcoat adhesion = flawless surfaces. 🌊🔬 4️⃣ Resin Mix Ratio: Mix it right! Resin-to-hardener ratio = complete curing. No shortcuts! 🧪🔍 6️⃣ Fiber Orientation (optionally): Align those fibers! Mechanical properties depend on it. ➡️🔗 7️⃣Curing Time: Not too short, not too long. Find the sweet spot for optimal properties. ⏰⚖️ 8️⃣Pressure During Manufacturing and/or Curing: Apply pressure, reduce voids.     New-generation Stadler FLIRT EMUs on the route between Switzerland and Italy The trains started operation on the 41 km Brig–Domodossola line. The Swiss operator BLS AG has given them the name of MIKA. The six-car low-floor EMUs are 105 m long, have 275 seats, and can reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h. Compared to the previous FLIRT modifications, the cars have larger entrance areas, a refreshment zone, better mobile phone reception, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Stadler was awarded a tender to supply 58 such trains for $745.4 mln in 2017. The contract to deliver 52 units in 2021–2025 was signed in January 2018, with an additional six ordered in 2020.     New Glasgow subway trains launched This week Strathclyde Partnership for Transport launched new subway trains in Glasgow for the first time over 40 years. These custom made trains now with four cars instead of the usual three were developed for the unique size of the Subways of Glasgow as part of SPT’s modernisation efforts. Seventeen of these trains are set to be introduced in 2024. The next step for SPT is to replace the current signalling and communications system before ultimately moving to driverless trains.     New Stadler FLIRT Akku now also in operation between Kiel, Lübeck and Lüneburg   As a pioneer in alternative drive technologies Stadler is proud to supply the vehicles for the world's first battery-electric train fleet in regular service. Stadler’s innovative and comfortable FLIRT Akku multiple units will replace diesel trains on non-electrified lines in Schleswig-Holstein in the North of Germany, and thus save around 10 million liters of diesel and 26,000 tons of CO2 per year. This important milestone was celebrated today with many guests on a train ride between Kiel and Lübeck, the two largest cities of the region Schleswig-Holstein.   Watch the video to learn more about the benefits of Stadler’s FLIRT Akku trains.

    Darmstadt started to run-in ST15 trams from Stadler HEAG mobilo GmbH, a transport operator of the German city, received the run-in permission from the technical supervision authority. Until the end of autumn, 14 trams will run with and without passengers. After that, commercial operation will begin. Five-car TINA trams can accommodate 272 people, 101 of them seated. The vehicles are designed to operate at a top speed of 80 km/h. They have a new bogie design that improves its maintainability and optimises the use of the space. Air in the tram is cooled by an environmentally friendly CO2 air conditioning system. In accordance with the 2020 contract and the option implemented in 2021, the manufacturer is to deliver 25 trams.     Now it's time to get on board - TINA in passenger service   We are celebrating an important milestone for our latest generation of trams. It fills us with pride that the first TINA will now start trial operation on Darmstadt's rail network after successful tests. With significantly more space on board and the large panoramic windows, our low-floor vehicles increase passenger comfort and make public transport even more attractive.
