RCG has recently signed a contract with European Loc Pool for three new EuroDual locomotives, which will be part of the TransFLEX offer. The Rail Cargo Group (RCG) is launching a new product for more flexibility in rail freight transport: TransFLEX. This offering provides tailored solutions for the individual needs of customers in spot traffic, primarily within Germany, but also cross-border to Austria. RCG recently signed a contract with European Loc Pool for three new EuroDual locomotives, which will be part of the TransFLEX offering. Cenk Seringölge, Managing Director of Rail Cargo Logistics - Germany, explains: “The collaboration with European Loc Pool offers many advantages for our operations. European Loc Pool on Tour 👋 We believe it's important to regularly visit our customers to understand how they are doing! This week, we were on the road in Leipzig region to visit some of our EuroDual customers. We had discussions about performance and future opportunities. Our Sales Director, Emiel Knarren, observed that the customers are very satisfied, laying a solid foundation for expanding our collaboration. We extend our heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome to our customers BELog, InfraLeuna GmbH, MEG, and Flex Bahndienstleistungen GmbH. The EuroDual, a six-axle hybrid locomotive, represents a breakthrough in European rail freight transportation. Our EuroDuals: Maximum availability for the customer! 🎯 The EuroDual impresses with an unbeatable operational performance. The exceptional availability and reliability are due to the innovative design of the locomotive and its low maintenance requirements: 🔧Maintenance Intervals: With maintenance intervals of over 50,000 km, only a few preventive maintenances are required per year. 🛠️Less Corrective Maintenance: due to the robust and proven design we are able to guarantee availability of over 95% and a reliability of less then 6 workstopshops per year! 🚀 The EuroDual features an advanced wheel-slip control system that prevents flat spots and high costs and downtime from reprofiling and wheel replacements. With only few maintenance events, customers have more production days and at the same time save in downtime, staff and costs of bringing the locomotives to and from the workshop. Thanks to exceptional flexibility and reliability: NeS expands fleet with third EuroDual from ELP 🚆 European Loc Pool (ELP) is thrilled to sign a 10-year full-service leasing agreement with Netzwerkbahn Sachsen GmbH (NeS). NeS, a long-standing partner of ELP, relies on the high flexibility and performance of the EuroDual and is expanding its fleet with a third EuroDual locomotive. “The EuroDual locomotive from ELP is in use nationwide, transporting heavy trains to even the most remote connections. Our customized transport solutions rely on flexibility, speed, reliability, and safety, making the EuroDual the ideal choice for our spot traffic operations. Additionally, we benefit as a customer from the extensive experience of the ELP team,” says Felix Hils, pleased with the partnership with ELP. 🤝 The first EuroDual has been in operation since July 2023, the second is expected in Q4 2024, and the third is planned for Q2 2025. Yet another celebration with our customers 💐🎉👍🏻 We joined LTE logistics & transport, their customers and partners at the opening of their new office in Rotterdam Waalhaven, Netherlands! LTE is a valued European Loc Pool customer since two years now.  Over this period, they have signed contracts to lease four locomotives from us: two EuroDual and two Euro9500 models. The EuroDuals, Grainy Day and Grainbow, along with the Euro9500, Grain Speed, are already successfully in operation. The final Euro9500 will be delivered by the end of August this year.
