Today, Federal Councillors Karin Keller-Sutter and Ignazio Cassis, together with Thomas Jordan, President of the Swiss National Bank, met with the members of the Swiss Bretton Woods constituency in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. They discussed cooperation within the constituency and current affairs at the International Monetary Fund and The World Bank, focusing on the challenges facing the global economy, the financial and trading system, sustainable development and poverty reduction. Along with Switzerland, the constituency includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Bundesrätin Karin Keller-Sutter und Bundesrat Ignazio Cassis, zusammen mit Nationalbankpräsident Thomas Jordan, trafen heute die Mitglieder der Schweizer Bretton-Woods-Stimmrechtsgruppe in Duschanbe, Tadschikistan. Sie diskutierten über die Zusammenarbeit in der Gruppe sowie über aktuelle Geschäfte des Internationalen Währungsfonds und der Weltbank. Der Schwerpunkt lag dabei auf den Herausforderungen für die Weltwirtschaft, das Finanz- und Handelssystem, die nachhaltige Entwicklung und die Armutsbekämpfung. Der Stimmrechtsgruppe gehören neben der Schweiz Aserbaidschan, Kasachstan, Kirgisistan, Polen, Serbien, Tadschikistan, Turkmenistan und Usbekistan an.

Ils ont discuté de la collaboration au sein du groupe et des dossiers actuels du Fonds monétaire international et de la Banque mondiale. L'accent a été mis sur les défis qui se posent pour l’économie mondiale, le système financier et commercial, le développement durable et la réduction de la pauvreté. Outre la Suisse, le groupe de vote comprend l’Azerbaïdjan, le Kazakhstan, le Kirghizistan, la Pologne, la Serbie, le Tadjikistan, le Turkménistan et l’Ouzbékistan.
