Meet Dr. Massimo Gadina, one of the #EADVCongress plenary speakers! 🧑🏫 He is the Chief of the Translational Immunology Section within the Office of Science and Technology (OST) at the National Institute of Arthritis Musculoskeletal and Skin diseases at the NIH. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Georgetown University. In his lecture Prof. Gadina will address the efficacy of Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors compared to biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs in several autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. He will also explore the challenges as well as the exciting areas of development of alternative strategies for JAK inhibition with siRNA or metabolites derivatives.
