Dec Group recently had the opportunity to provide a high containment micronizing facility (CPT 50 ng/m3) to a customer in the Nordics looking to upgrade their API manufacturing facility in order to comply with legal requirements.   The new isolator facility we implemented allows for milling, micronizing, pre-blending, conditioning, and packaging of pharmaceutical ingredients under high containment and controlled conditions. It features our patented spiral jet mill technology, MC DecJet®, renowned for achieving milling results down to < 1-5 microns and excelling in processing highly sticky, abrasive and even hard materials. Furthermore, the system includes a newly engineered conditioning chamber equipped with precise temperature and relative humidity controls. This chamber is specifically designed for the relaxation process allowing the amorphous ingredients to settle and stabilize after being subjected to stress during the micronizing process. Built-in CIP features ensure best hygiene standards are maintained.
