🌍Meet: The Collective Good! 🌟 A platform that changes the narrative around sustainability to inspire action and spark positive change. 🌱🚀 We realized that many of us would like to do something to contribute to a better world but feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start exactly. Often, the problems feel too big, and we feel too small to be able to make an impact. 😔 We want to turn that feeling around. We want to channel the energy that now goes into stress and anxiety into positivity and motivation to induce action. 🌟 We connect a community to increase collective impact and together we build a positive narrative around sustainability to ignite enthusiasm, hope, and confidence. 💪🌈 Follow us to stay up-to-date and connect if you want to contribute your thoughts! 📢🤝 #TheCollectiveGood #PositiveChange #CollectiveImpact #Sustainability

Changing the narrative to inspire action and spark positive change
Info
Our platform sheds light on critical issues while sharing possibilities, solutions, positive stories, and concrete examples. We connect a community to increase collective impact and together we build a positive narrative around sustainability to ignite enthusiasm, hope, and confidence. In a world with so many social and environmental challenges that need solving and a constant messy and conflicting stream of negative news updates, it is easy to feel anxious, hopeless, and powerless. We realized in talking to the people around us that many would like to do something to contribute to a better world but feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start exactly. To many of us, the problems feel too big, and we feel too small to be able to make an impact. And we know that it indeed will take more than individual actions to tackle the crises we are facing. However, at Collective Good, we are convinced that the actual impact of individual actions can be incredible. In fact, they are the foundation we need to build on to advance sustainability. The Collective Good was started from a desire to act and inspire the change we want to see. We don’t want to remain inactive. We want to channel the energy that now (for many of us) goes into stress and anxiety into positivity and motivation to induce action. We want to start doing our part, get inspired by others, and in turn, inspire more to start acting as well.

📢 Our latest article is out! While nature restoration law was adopted last week by the European Council, and while the Swiss are due to vote next September on the biodiversity initiative, have you ever questioned your own relationship with biodiversity? Well I have, especially since I met the Nosferatu spider here in Switzerland. Have you met it and are you afraid of spiders? How did it go? Read our article and discover what you can do about it! 🕷 Disclaimer: yes there are spider pictures in the article and yes the first one is cute (and it's ok). 💚 #biodiversity #collectivegood #FacingOurFears #Positive #Impact https://lnkd.in/euHgQnYs

Missed the Swiss Sustainable Finance event yesterday in Bern ? Below are some insights 👇 #SustainableFinance #ImpactFinance #JustTransition #CollectiveGood #Entrepreneurship #ClimateAction #Biodiversity
I had the pleasure of attending the 10th anniversary event of Swiss Sustainable Finance (SSF) yesterday in Bern. The event was a remarkable reflection on the milestones achieved over the past decade and an inspiring discussion on the future vision for sustainable finance. Lots of interesting things to remember, but if I were to list just a few: ▶ Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and former UN high commissioner for Human Rights reminded us of the urgency to act, the need for a just transition to a low-carbon world, and for a positive narrative ( 👉 The Collective Good) ▶ Alisée de Tonnac shared some entrepreneurial successes and talked about the right to fail and to embed this failure in the entrepreneurial process ▶ Education emerged as a recurring theme in response to the question, "What is the biggest need for action to make sustainable finance and impact finance more effective in the next 10 years?" ▶ Kirsten Schuijt rightly pointed that the discussions on the complexity and challenges posed by data should not hinder our capacity to act and to see the urgency we need to deal with 💡 So what do we need to do? ➡ Close to $7 trillion is still invested globally each year in activities that have a direct negative impact on nature. Capital needs to be better allocated and where the needs will be, ie in emerging markets. ➡ There is a huge business case for the financial sector both to step up into biodiversity and climate change investment, and to integrate biodiversity and climate change in their decision making. ➡ Let's not silo our efforts in the just transition, where social impact is as equally important It was great to see and reconnect with so many of you I have met the past months and to meet new people still!
