It's show time in Lausanne 🦁🏆 Today starts the National League finals, and for the first time in its history, Lausanne Hockey Club Group will claim its chance at the title. #LHC was the first team to give our technology a chance, thanks to the vision of their staff members and organization. A vision well documented by the Swiss newspaper Le Temps through their interview of the man driving innovation for the club, Quirin Söhnlein. We were happy to discover his testimony on our technology: "We also use Bearmind, a helmet-mounted sensor that measures impact and concussion risk. We've had three or four cases where the data obtained by this system has enabled us to make the right diagnosis and then establish the right protocol for a rapid return. Head impacts and concussions in Motorsport? We still have only feelings - from years - that what we experienced in our cars while racing off-road rallies is not ideal for our brain! Technical regulations changed for bigger, stronger, faster in rough sections to intensify the battle between teams. Car manufacturers are pushing innovation to simply win races. But in the cockpit we are having too often concussion symptoms by top category drivers and codrivers. Because we cannot wait for changes, we are leading investigation to increase our knowledges and look for dedicated solutions. By Anna Hellman and ThinkSport, I've met Bearmind and Francis Degache who then presents me AudioVitality and his founder Pier Rubesa. With #audisport we are connecting the dots. Together we are working on defining our head motion and impacts while driving and how it's influenced by the settings of the car. Together we are working on how sounds and vibrations can affect our human performance on long days of driving in a stressful environment. Together we are exploring the unknown!
