Zou jij in dit vliegtuigje stappen? 🛩 🇩🇪 Over vijf jaar moet het dan eindelijk mogelijk zijn: een vlucht met een elektrische vliegtuig die tot 400 kilometer kan vliegen. Het Nederlandse bedrijf VÆRIDION wil dit mogelijk maken. In het Duitse München wordt daarom morgen de eerste productielocatie geopend waar de vliegtuigjes worden gemaakt. 🛫 Onze correspondent Derk Marseille bracht tijdens zijn rondreis door Duitsland een bezoekje aan het hoofdkantoor waar hij sprak met Ivor van Dartel, ceo van Vaeridion. 'We hebben aangetoond dat dit technisch mogelijk is', zegt de ceo. Vaeridion wil gaan vliegen vanaf 2027. De eerste passagiers zouden dan vanaf 2029 tot 2030 meekunnen. ✈ De grote uitdaging is niet het ontwerp van het vliegtuig op zich, stelt de ceo. 'Dat is heel klassiek, dus niet zo spannend. Maar wel de aandrijftechniek die erin zit. Die is helemaal nieuw en ontwikkelen we zelf, die moeten we ook zelf bouwen.'
