Special Relativity Sandbox
A downloadable application for Windows
Special Relativity Sandbox is a physics sandbox application, which aims at being a great educational tool for explaining Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity.
Explore endless thought experiments through the power of an interactive Space-Time diagram, which lets you easily visualize all the effects that the Lorentz Transform have on space and time, using a user-friendly graphical style.
No maths involved! One of the core vision for this this app is to allow even the less mathematically inclined to gain a deep intuition on the notoriously complex topic of Einstein's Special Relativity. This is achievable with the high degree of visual interaction that the application offers.
Special Relativity Sandbox is also being submitted as an entry for 3Blue1Brown Summer of Mathematical Exposition edition #2. Thanks to the organizers of SuME2, this contest was a great motivational help!

Wow! I've discovered this thanks to a search in YouTube about "special relativity in acelerated frames" and -I'm not going to lie to you- I thought at first it was a GeoGebra animation, but I'm fascinated.
This is even better for the main porpurse of offering an intuitive picture of the phenomena. I'm going to tell my collegues about your application. Great job and thanks for sharing!
Hey there! Thanks, this really means a lot. If you have any suggestions or things that you would like to be added, let me know, I will be happy to consider them!
