Destroy the enemy ships without dying.  There are 3 unlockable weapons:

Minigun 

An inaccurate and weak gun, but its high rate of fire makes it extremely forgiving

-Tap SPACE to take out (if SPACE is held down, the minigun will be spun up when it is taken out)

-Once the minigun is out, hold SPACE to spin up/fire

-Release SPACE while it is firing to put away

Possible Upgrades: Rate of fire, Damage and Accuracy (Red upgrades)


Cannon

A precise and powerful weapon that can be devastating in the hands of a skilled user

-Tap Z to take out

-When out, tap Z to fire

-Press X or SPACE to put away

Possible Upgrades: Rate of fire, Damage and Explosion Size (Green Upgrades)


Rocket Launcher

A fast-firing launcher that shoots slow, but decently powerful, rockets.  They will detonate if they are close enough to enemies, even if they do not collide.

-Tap X to fire one rocket

-Hold X to fire multiple rockets

Possible Upgrades: Rate of Fire, Damage, Explosion Size, Initial Rocket Speed, Rocket Acceleration (Magenta Upgrades)


The blue upgrade increases the damage of explosions.

Upgrades with 3 dots increase rate of fire

Upgrades with a bunch of lines radiating from a point increase Damage

Upgrades with a vaguely ring-shaped cloud increase splash size

For the rocket launcher, the arrow that tapers at the end increases rocket acceleration  and the arrow that is straight increases rocket base speed.


Shoot enemies to damage them.

Destroy enemies to increase your level.

After increasing enough, you get 3 choices for upgrades.

Click the upgrades or use "Q", "W", or "E".

Looks fun, couple of things I would love to see you revisit, if possible. 

The sky color combined with flying brown stuff is too hard to see due to the color combination, perhaps a darker more contrasting look will improve this? The ship can also be a little darker in their shadow area.

When firing, it would be tremendous help if cannon fires nearly instantly after pressing the key, and the bullets are more visible. The visibility issue can be improved if the sky color is altered.

Again, this is just my opinion, all of this could actually be intended features. In that case, I apologize.

The colors aren't feature, thanks for telling me this. I will add an optional high-contrast mode to the game. For the cannon, it will fire right away if you tap "Z" to take it out.  Once it is out, tap "Z" to fire.

oh sorry my mistake, I meant to say the minigun but instead I said cannon.

Does the new high-contrast mode help with the visibility issues?  If I work on the game more, I will make the minigun's spin-up rate upgradeable, but at the moment, I feel that the spin-up makes it more balanced.

Any plans on making the powerup screen appear less frequently? It just halts the flow. Plus, making the selection of power with arrow keys would be quite helpful to players.

The frequency of the power-up screen has been mentioned by other people, I will make it appear less often in the next update. I also like the idea of selecting upgrades with the arrow keys.  I will try to add that too.
