I am Hazem Mohammed Albardawill. I am 29 years old. I used to live with my small family. My wife is pregnant and my children are Imad and Jad. We are very happy in our lives. On the evening of the black day, October 11, at eight o’clock in the evening, our house was bombed. I did not feel anything. I was taken to the hospital where my injury occurred and I stayed in intensive care for several days. Then after... It was during my coma that I first began to ask about my children and my wife, and when I learned of their martyrdom, and after that I did not feel alive, for my soul had left me. I mean, then, without shelter, without treatment, without work, or family, I felt that I had nothing. Everything was gone with the bombing, even my dreams. Yesterday, my family and neighbors needed to work in order to provide myself with a shelter to help me from the heat and cold of winter, and I need the required treatment in order to return to how I was before the damned war Which left a fire in my heart that will never be extinguished. I do not want the impossible. All I want is for you to provide me with money so that I can provide myself with shelter and treatment. To live a decent life.

i was recently reached out to by Seraj, a 21 year old university student from Gaza. Seraj is supporting his immediate family of 9 people, as well as extended family members. he's also been directing mutual aid projects for people in his community, providing money and food to other displaced Palestinians.

as we all know, the situation in Gaza is extremely dire, and the prices of essential life items such as food, water, medicine, electricity and internet are outrageously high, not to mention the constant risk of iof violence. your donations will be going to necesseties for his family and for mutual aid projects.

Seraj's family could be displaced for the 5th time at any moment. It is crucial that he reaches his short term goal of 67,000 as soon as possible, and he's so close!!!

My name is Ahmad Al-Ashi, a 24-year-old young man from Gaza.

For years, I have been the sole provider for my family. I live with my mother, who is 68 years old and suffers from chronic illnesses that weigh heavily on both of us. Her condition requires daily care and constant medication, but we can barely afford enough food to survive, let alone the expensive medicines she desperately needs.

My own health is not much better. I suffer from liver disease, and my liver enzyme levels are extremely high, leaving me in constant pain every single day. This illness prevents me from working consistently, and sometimes I even struggle to help my mother with the simplest tasks.

As for our living conditions, we reside in a tent—if it can even be called that. It provides no protection from the scorching heat of summer or the freezing cold of winter. The severe inflation in Gaza has made even basic necessities unaffordable. Food has become a luxury, and medicine feels like an unattainable dream. Every day, we face a battle between hunger and illness, between hope and despair.

Despite all of this, I continue to fight, standing as best I can for my mother and my family, searching for any glimmer of hope that can help us overcome this harsh ordeal. Our story is not just one of pain; it is a plea to anyone who can offer help, to anyone with a compassionate heart who can be the reason we survive this nightmare.

We are in desperate need of someone to extend a helping hand because our lives are on the brink of collapse.

Our children sleep on cold, wet ground, without blankets to warm them, and no walls to protect them. Their voices mix with the sound of the wind, a silent cry asking for help.

The cold, water, and hunger are killing them, and the numbers speak of the scale of suffering. We are not numbers, we are human beings, with a right to live. In Gaza, the dreams of our children drown in the floodwaters that have swept through our fragile tents. Their clothes, their food, even their few toys are not spared from the flooding. The fierce winds nearly tear our tents from their roots, leaving small bodies shivering from the cold, and small hearts wondering: why must we suffer all this?

Will you allow this innocence to be lost in this hell⁉️

The children of Gaza deserve more than just survival; they deserve life. Save our children, stop the war, we are not numbers.

Thank you for helping Hashem @hashembadr reach his short term goal! He is now able to buy another tent for his large extended family to shelter in the winter. Hashem's young niece, Suham, is suffering from a lasting injury, which requires costly surgery to heal from properly. About a year ago, near the beginning of the war, Suham's arm was seriously injured. Due to relentless bombardment, displacement, and scarcity of medical supplies, Suham was not able to get the treatment that she needed as her arm was healing. Because of this, her bone welded incorrectly.

Suham needs surgery to correct the bone in her arm. The doctor advised that she get it soon, so her injury does not worsen or become harder to fix. However, the surgery is very expensive, costing around $4,700. Combined with the 30% transfer fees to withdraw the money, Hashem and his family need to raise another $6,110 (or £4,864) for Suham to recieve this vital surgery.

Suham is only a child. She has spent the last year injured, living through displacement, fear, and pain. Please, help her get the surgery she needs to heal her arm. Share and donate, anything you can give makes a difference.

During this ongoing war and genocide people in Gaza still want to live their lives, not just survive. This is also my friend Mai's case whose family has only suffered so far because of injuries and illness:

• Her brother was injured and required 80stitches and constant medication and care to gain functionality of his arm
• Mai herself has been diagnosed with hepatitis due to contaminated food and water
• Her mother’s health has deteriorated even tho she has a heart device implanted. The medication she needs to survive costs $350 per week!
• Her father recently underwent a heart catheterization and now requires continuous care medication her family cannot afford. He is elderly and unable to work to cover these costs.

Despite all this she still wishes is to complete her Master's degree and register for the current semester. However this costs money: 1500 $. For this she made a separate paypal account dedicated only to her university fees. I would love it if you all donated and reblogged this post in order to help her reach her goal!

Before the War: My Life as a Programmer

Before the war, my life was filled with lines of code, problem-solving, and creative thinking. I was a programmer—building web and mobile apps, writing backend systems in C# and ASP.NET. My days were spent developing projects, learning new technologies, and growing in my career. It wasn’t always easy, but I loved what I did. My work gave me purpose, and my future felt full of possibility.

Now: Life in War

Now, my reality has drastically changed. I live under constant threat, in a war zone, with my family. The sound of explosions has replaced the hum of my computer. Each day is a struggle for survival, filled with fear, grief, and uncertainty.

I have lost loved ones—my cousins, my aunt, and her children. And I have lost my job, my sense of security, and the dreams I once had as a programmer. The war took away my work, but more than that, it has taken away the life I knew.

Hope for the Future

But despite it all, I hold on to hope. Hope that one day, I will return to the work I love. Hope that one day, my family and I can live in peace. Like anyone else in the world, we deserve to feel safe, to dream again, and to rebuild what was lost.
