Families Plus is a team within #DigitalTransformationTCS that is constantly working to enhance child care service delivery. This product team builds and manages solutions used by Toronto families with children at City-run child care centres or in home child care. My Child Care Account (MCCA) is an online application designed for Toronto families who receive a child care fee subsidy. Families Plus has greatly improved the customer experience with MCCA and by transforming business processes. The team also uses new technologies to modernize systems that let families apply for a fee subsidy, receive a child care placement, and more. Families Plus collaborates and innovates as an #Agile team of systems/business analysts, application developers, user experience experts, and consultants. #DigitalTransformationTCS has a Summer Internship Program for a post-secondary student doing a co-op/work term in Computer Science or a related field. Our current intern is learning about automation servers while working on one of our application development/testing projects. Interns can gain valuable problem-solving and teamwork skills while receiving excellent mentorship.
