About
In 2010, I received a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the University of Calgary.
In 2011, I started my professional career as a seismic interpreter working on the Peace River in-situ heavy oil development at Shell Canada. In 2012, I moved into seismic processing where I completed the Shell Graduate Geosciences Foundation program.
In 2015, I moved out of the Graduate program and into External Relations for the Unconventionals business to broaden my non-technical risk exposure and experience. In 2017, I became the Community Liaison for the Shell Caroline Gas Complex. In addition to this I was also responsible for the Directive 56 Public Involvement for all of the Shell Foothills assets which include Caroline, Jumping Pound and Waterton, fields and facilities.
In 2019/2020, in addition to the Community Liaison for the Caroline Gas Complex with Pieridae Alberta Production Ltd. a subsidiary of Pieridae Energy, I was assigned as Consultation & Regulatory Advisor for Energy development applications, including supporting licence transfer Statement of Concern responses.
In September 2022, I joined the Explore Inc. team as the Manager of Indigenous and Community Relations.
I have a passion for volunteering in community. From 2014-2019, I was a member of the board of directors for the Foothills Little League Baseball association. During the season, I had coordinated multiple divisions, ran the evaluations of multiple divisions and in my final year was the registrar. After a few year hiatus to focus on family, I have returned to serving community in the capacity of the Board of Directors for First Nations Power Authority and as an Indigenous Youth Mentor with Miskanawah through Calgary Youth Justice program In-The-Lead in Calgary.
